The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is expected to make its official debut later this year. Recently, a suspected prototype was spotted in California, drawing attention with its distinctive Admiral Blue paint and iconic fender stripes—a color scheme previously used on the launch editions of the C4 and C7-generation Grand Sports. Rumors suggest the new model will be powered by a 6.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine (approximately 409 cubic inches) and will not feature a hybrid system, staying true to the Grand Sport’s legacy as the “purest driver’s car.” Positioned between the base model and the high-performance ZR1, the Grand Sport is anticipated to deliver a more balanced blend of performance and handling. If confirmed, this would mark another significant addition to the C8 generation lineup.
