Zeekr issued a statement today addressing the premature leak of certain details about the Zeekr 8X, which disrupted its originally planned launch schedule. The company stated it has communicated with the relevant parties and emphasized its commitment to maintaining orderly product launches and ensuring fair information disclosure. As the high-performance flagship SUV based on the SEA-S super hybrid electric architecture, the Zeekr 8X has already completed its filing with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). It will be equipped with a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system (maximum output: 205 kW) and is expected to feature advanced technologies such as a three-motor megawatt electric drive, 6C ultra-fast charging battery, SEA AI digital chassis, and a 48V active stabilizer bar. Zeekr noted that the new vehicle is currently undergoing large-scale pre-production testing and reaffirmed its philosophy that “a great car is worth the wait,” pledging to ensure delivery quality.
