On February 4, Zhiyou Wujie, an industrial embodied intelligence company, announced the completion of a nearly RMB 20 million angel funding round, exclusively invested by Pinecone Ventures. The proceeds will be used for the development of general-purpose industrial robots, core technology upgrades, and market expansion. Founded in August 2025 and spun out from Tsinghua University’s Shenzhen Intelligent Robotics Laboratory, the company is led by Dr. Guo Guanqiu, whose expertise lies in robot control and algorithms, and Chief Scientist Professor Wang Xueqian, a national-level expert. Prior to this round, Zhiyou Wujie had already secured over RMB 10 million in seed-series financing from investors including Zhuoyuan Asia and Lihewei Innovation, bringing its total funding close to RMB 50 million. The company focuses on developing an “industrial embodied brain,” leveraging an architecture combining large models, multi-expert scenario-specific models, and cerebellum-inspired reinforcement learning to create generalizable intelligent hardware. It has already launched products such as “Yugong No.1” and “Maliang X1,” and established collaborations with leading industry clients.
