On February 4, blogger @SugarDesign revealed spy photos of the new sedan "Mg7" from BYD's Fangchengbao brand undergoing road testing. Positioned below the previously unveiled "Mg9," the Mg7 features a more compact body with a dynamic, low-slung fastback design. Its side profile showcases smooth, flowing lines and flush-folding door handles. At the rear, a subtle ducktail spoiler is paired with distinctive raised taillights in an approximate dual-diamond shape. Departing from Fangchengbao’s current rugged SUV aesthetic, the Mg7 adopts a sleeker, more streamlined stance that emphasizes sportiness. According to earlier reports, Fangchengbao plans to launch its new sedan lineup in 2026 while further enhancing user engagement and expanding its sales and service network.
