Volkswagen has recently released a teaser image of its all-new pickup truck, the Tukan. Developed by Volkswagen’s Brazilian team, the vehicle is slated to enter production at a Brazilian plant in 2027 and is named after the South American toucan, a bird native to the region. The Tukan features a vibrant yellow paint scheme, sleek yet muscular body lines, an upward-sweeping character line, black flared wheel arches, and upright bed-side pillars, giving it a sporty and highly distinctive appearance. A unique model badge adorns the C-pillar. As a key component of Volkswagen’s strategy to launch 21 new models in South America by 2028, the Tukan will help the brand deepen its presence in the region and strengthen its local product portfolio. Further details will be revealed in due course.
