Production of the Porsche Cayenne Electric has officially commenced at the Volkswagen Group plant in Bratislava, Slovakia. Unveiled globally in November 2023, the Cayenne Electric is Porsche's first all-electric SUV, built on the same Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture as the Audi Q6 e-tron. The vehicle will be offered in both single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants, with a maximum WLTP range of up to 600 kilometers and support for 800-volt high-speed charging technology. As a key component of Porsche’s electrification strategy, the start of Cayenne Electric production marks the brand’s accelerated transition toward electric mobility. Deliveries are expected to begin within 2024, with sales planned across multiple global markets.
