Changan Automobile recently released its production and sales data for January 2026: production totaled 164,576 units, and sales reached 134,701 units, both down by 9.18% year-on-year. Among these figures, overseas sales plummeted by 51.14% year-on-year to 43,628 units; sales of its own-brand vehicles dropped sharply by 58.46% year-on-year to just 100,100 units; and new energy vehicle (NEV) sales declined by 45.74% year-on-year to 36,621 units. Overall, Changan Automobile is facing significant downward pressure across multiple key business segments.
