FAW Bestune Teams Up with Unity China to Launch First 3D Smart Cockpit Production Vehicle

At the 2026 FAW Bestune Global Ecosystem Partner Conference, FAW Bestune and Unity China officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, marking a new phase of comprehensive mass production in their partnership. As early as 2025, the two parties jointly established the "Metaverse Joint Lab," focusing on real-time 3D rendering and AIGC (AI-Generated Content) technology development to lay the groundwork for intelligent cockpits. Unveiled at the event, the Bestune Yueyi 08 became the first mass-produced vehicle powered by Unity’s Unity Engine. Its intelligent cockpit features core functionalities such as a 3D Launcher, vehicle control interface, and lane-level intelligent driving visualization—breaking through the limitations of traditional 2D interfaces and significantly enhancing interaction intuitiveness and driving safety. Xiao Beibei, Vice President of Unity China, stated that Unity will combine its engine rendering capabilities with Bestune’s manufacturing expertise to create smarter and safer mobility experiences. Yang Xinglong, Deputy General Manager of FAW Bestune, emphasized that the Yueyi 08 sets a benchmark for intelligent features in future models. Both parties will continue deepening the application of real-time 3D technologies in automotive scenarios, driving the industry toward intelligent and personalized upgrades.
