At this week's National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Show in Las Vegas, Nissan unveiled the all-new, revived Xterra SUV to dealers for the first time. Built on an entirely new body-on-frame platform, the two-row, rugged off-roader features aggressive styling that blends classic elements from the original Xterra with modern, bold aesthetics, including a large grille and a low-range four-wheel-drive system. The Xterra is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2028 with a starting price under $40,000. A luxury version under the Infiniti brand will also be developed on the same platform, which will further underpin the next-generation Pathfinder, Frontier, and QX60—offering hybrid or plug-in hybrid powertrain options. Additionally, production of the current Altima will continue through summer 2027, after which the Sentra will be Nissan’s only remaining sedan in its lineup.
