In January 2026, Mazda's sales performance in the North American market showed divergence. In the U.S., sales totaled 28,958 units, down 14% year-over-year (a 17.3% decline after calendar adjustment). Apart from the CX-50, which surged by 64.4% to 10,415 units, sales of all other models generally declined, with the Mazda3 sedan plunging by 39.4%. Meanwhile, in Canada and Mexico, Mazda sold 4,974 and 8,704 units respectively, representing year-over-year increases of 4.9% and 11%, demonstrating steady performance.
