Tesla's China AI Training Center has officially commenced operations. Tesla Vice President Tao Lin revealed today that the center is specifically designed for China-market applications of advanced driver-assistance systems and AI, and has already achieved localized AI model training capabilities. This move aims to enhance the adaptability and performance of Tesla’s intelligent driving system in China’s complex road environments. While Tao did not disclose specific computing power figures for the training center, she indicated that current capacity is sufficient to meet present research, development, and application needs. The launch of this center marks Tesla’s further deepening of its technological footprint in China and accelerates its efforts to build local AI capabilities.
