XPeng announced on February 7 that it will launch a new full-size, six-seater SUV—the XPeng GX—expected to hit the market in the first half of this year. The vehicle has already appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) catalog, offering both extended-range and all-electric variants. With dimensions of 5,265 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height—and a wheelbase of 3,115 mm—the GX features a six-seat layout, emphasizing "every seat is a premium seat, every row can recline flat." The exterior design is minimalist, featuring split headlights and a clamshell-style hood, giving it an overall aesthetic reminiscent of the Range Rover. It also includes gold trim accents, a floating roof, and 21-inch wheels (with optional 22-inch wheels). In terms of specifications, the GX is equipped with steer-by-wire technology, rear-wheel steering, and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering a maximum output of 430 kW and peak torque of 695 N·m, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in the 4-second range. Built on an 800V platform and utilizing XPeng’s 5C ultra-fast-charging AI battery technology, the GX is expected to be priced at around RMB 400,000.
