Xiaomi's all-new high-performance SUV, the YU7 GT, has officially been listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 404th batch of vehicle announcements, marking it as just one step away from market launch. The vehicle is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system co-developed by Xiaomi and Inovance Technology, delivering a combined output of approximately 1,004 horsepower and a top speed of 300 km/h. It features an active hydraulic suspension system that automatically lowers the ride height in track mode to optimize aerodynamics and supports adjustable torque vectoring. The YU7 GT has undergone intensive testing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, aiming directly at setting a new lap record for production SUVs, with its main rivals being the Tesla Model Y Performance and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT. Positioned as Xiaomi Auto’s “sub-flagship” model, the YU7 GT is expected to be priced between RMB 400,000 and RMB 500,000, potentially reshaping the high-performance SUV market landscape.
