DENZA N8L Rolls Out V1.2 Update with Over 10 New Features, Including Easy Park Assist and Low-Speed Emergency Braking

The Denza N8L has received its V1.2 OTA update, introducing a range of new intelligent and convenience features. These include Easy Valet Parking (supporting parallel parking spaces and direction switching), low-speed emergency braking, lead vehicle start-up alert, highway emergency stop assistance, and an end-to-end driving assistance system powered by a large AI model. In the cabin, the update adds voice control for all three rows of seats, multi-screen synchronization for music accounts, collaborative music playback controls ("Listen Together"), automatic collection of Ant Forest energy points, and a new in-car digital wooden fish mini-game. Smartphone integration now extends to Samsung, OPPO, OnePlus, and realme devices, with select models supporting network sharing. Additionally, Sentry Mode can now upload high-risk video clips directly to the BYD app, and the dashcam now offers five-angle parking recording. The update also optimizes automatic emergency braking, parking performance, brake smoothness, and child presence detection logic—enhancing the overall user experience.
