Integrated die-casting technology is emerging as a key pathway for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and green transformation in the automotive manufacturing industry. By utilizing ultra-large-tonnage die-casting machines, this technology consolidates dozens or even hundreds of components—traditionally requiring stamping and welding—into a single, large integrated part through unified design and one-step casting. This significantly reduces the number of parts and assembly steps while enhancing vehicle body strength, rigidity, and reliability. Currently, the technology is widely applied in the production of complex components such as engine blocks, transmission housings, and structural body parts, effectively reducing vehicle weight and improving fuel efficiency and overall performance. Core breakthroughs include large-scale intelligent die-casting equipment, domestically developed heat-treatment-free aluminum alloys, process innovations, and an integrated “factory-within-a-factory” supply chain model. In the future, combined with intelligent monitoring and machine learning, this technology is expected to enable adaptive control, further enhancing manufacturing precision and efficiency.
