In extreme cold of -20°C, the XPeng X9 secured the global top spot in ultra-low-temperature charging performance at the 2026 Norway NAFEIPrix EV Winter Test. It charged from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes and delivered up to 400 km of range in only 8 minutes—significantly alleviating winter charging challenges for electric vehicles. This achievement is powered by its standard 800V + 5C ultra-fast-charging AI battery and intelligent navigation-based battery preheating system, which maintain optimal charging conditions even in freezing temperatures. Additionally, the XPeng X9 features the world’s first 11-heat-source AI thermal management system, achieving a remarkably low CLTC combined energy consumption of just 15.9 kWh/100 km. The all-electric version offers a range of up to 750 km, while the Super Extended Range variant delivers an impressive combined range of 1,602 km. Inside the cabin, temperatures can rise by 36°C within 10 minutes, complemented by a whisper-quiet, gentle airflow climate control system for a warm and comfortable experience.
