Honda Motor Co. announced a partnership with Mythic, a technology company based in Texas, USA, to jointly develop a system-on-chip (SoC) for software-defined vehicles (SDVs). Honda has invested in Mythic, recognizing its proprietary AI hardware technology and strong track record. The collaboration will focus on enhancing AI computing performance and energy efficiency required for autonomous driving and other SDV functionalities. The project is led by Honda R&D Co., Ltd., Honda’s research and development subsidiary, aiming to create a more powerful and efficient computing platform for future intelligent vehicles.
