Anhui Jinyu's $1.4B Battery Aluminum Foil Project Lands in Yibin, Sichuan

On February 9, Anhui Jinyu Materials Co., Ltd. officially signed an agreement with Yibin Sanjiang New Area in Sichuan Province for a high-performance battery aluminum foil project. The project represents a total investment of RMB 1 billion and, upon completion, will have an annual production capacity of 60,000 metric tons of high-performance battery aluminum foil. It is expected to be completed and commence operations in May 2027. Jinyu Materials specializes in the research, development, and processing of aluminum-based new materials. Its subsidiaries primarily produce aluminum foil for air conditioners and new-energy battery applications. This strategic move will further expand the company’s production capacity in the new-energy sector.
