In 2026, the Horgos railway port has already handled over 1,000 China-Europe (Central Asia) freight trains. At 3 p.m. yesterday, a train loaded with general merchandise, new-energy vehicle parts, and photovoltaic modules departed from the port bound for Kolyadichi, Belarus, marking the 1,000th such train this year. Currently, the port processes an average of more than 27 trains per day, completing the transshipment of one inbound or outbound train approximately every two hours. The export cargo mix continues to improve, with significant growth in specialty Lunar New Year goods exported from eastern and southern China, while high-value-added, high-tech products—including new-energy vehicles, photovoltaic modules, and precision instruments—maintain strong export momentum.
