Recently, China FAW Group's subsidiary, China Automotive New Energy Battery Technology Co., Ltd., successfully achieved the industry's first vehicle integration of an ultra-high specific energy lithium-rich manganese-based solid-liquid hybrid battery. Jointly developed by China Automotive New Energy and the research team of Academician Chen Jun from Nankai University, the battery cell has surpassed an energy density of 500 Wh/kg. The battery pack delivers 67% higher capacity than comparable products, with a total pack capacity of 142 kWh, enabling a vehicle range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. This milestone marks significant progress in China's development of high-energy-density power batteries.
