The Weibo Top 10 Most Searched Automotive Brands of 2025 has been released, with tech and new energy vehicle (NEV) brands dominating public discourse. Xiaomi Auto topped the list with 326 appearances on the main chart and 340 on the tech chart, drawing significant attention for its ecosystem integration and intelligent user interaction. Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility ranked second, followed by Tesla in third place. BYD, XPeng, Li Auto, Zeekr, Lynk & Co, and NIO also made it into the top ten. Audi, with 45 main-chart mentions, was the only BBA brand (BMW, Benz, Audi) to appear on the list, highlighting the divergence among traditional luxury automakers in their smart-tech transformation. In the concurrently released list of the year’s Top 10 Most Searched Automotive Events, newly launched models—including the Xiaomi YU7, Li Auto i8, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, XPeng P7, Aito M8, Audi E5 Sportback, and Aito M7—garnered widespread public interest.
