On February 10, BYD officially unveiled the official images of its new B-segment all-electric SUV—the Song Ultra EV. The vehicle continues BYD’s family design language, featuring a closed-off front grille, the “Song” Chinese-character badge, sharp LED headlights, and a full-width daytime running light strip. It also incorporates “Dragon Fang” design elements and blacked-out air intakes to enhance visual impact. The side profile showcases a sleek fastback silhouette, complemented by semi-recessed door handles and blacked-out wheel arches. At the rear, it features a full-width LED light bar and an active rear spoiler that can be raised or lowered. The Song Ultra EV measures 4,850 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. A roof-mounted LiDAR unit is included, indicating support for BYD’s advanced “God’s Eye B” intelligent driving system. Powering the vehicle is a single electric motor delivering a maximum output of 270 kW and a top speed of 210 km/h. It will be offered with two battery options—75.6 kWh and 82.7 kWh—providing CLTC-rated ranges of 620 km and 710 km, respectively.
