During a live stream on February 10—the Chinese "Little New Year's Eve"—Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun unveiled Xiaomi’s custom car service center in Yizhuang, Beijing. Spanning over 400 square meters, the center offers more than 100 paint colors for the SU7 and YU7 models, multiple steering wheel options, four-color brake calipers, Alcantara interiors in various hues, colored seat belts, and a wide selection of wheels and seats. Personalized components such as colored carbon fiber were also displayed on-site. When asked when colored carbon fiber would be available on mass-produced vehicles, Lei Jun candidly replied, “It might still take a little time.” He explained that traditional carbon fiber leans toward a sporty aesthetic, which some female customers find less appealing, whereas colored carbon fiber is perceived as more premium. This customization center is the only dedicated service space of its kind in its segment, integrating display, production, and hands-on crafting areas.
