On February 9, Škoda unveiled a preview of its new entry-level all-electric urban crossover SUV, the Epiq. Positioned as the brand’s most affordable electric model, the Epiq will make its official debut in the first half of this year. As the first production vehicle fully embracing Škoda’s new design language, the Epiq features a minimalist aesthetic, a distinctive “crater” front fascia, T-shaped lighting signatures, and standard LED headlights. Inside, it is equipped with a 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13-inch central infotainment display. Built on Volkswagen Group’s MEB+ platform, the Epiq adopts a front-wheel-drive layout. It measures 4,171 mm in length, 1,798 mm in width, and 1,581 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,601 mm and an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.275. The vehicle offers a maximum range of 430 km (WLTP) and supports 133 kW fast charging. Its luggage compartment provides a generous 475 liters of cargo space. The Epiq will be available in three variants—35, 40, and 55—powered by either a 38.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery or a 55 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes between 7.4 and 11.0 seconds, depending on the version.
