Faraday Future (FF) recently signed seven agreements with Hebei Huanzhou Automotive Sales Co., Ltd., covering parts procurement, engineering services, and intellectual property licensing, to jointly advance the U.S. compliance certification, mass production, and delivery of the FX Super One all-electric vehicle. The FX Super One is the debut model under FF’s second brand and was launched in Dubai on October 28, with a starting price of approximately RMB 598,000. The vehicle has drawn comparisons to the Great Wall Motor’s Wey Gaoshan 9 due to its striking resemblance; FF stated that the model was co-developed with its Chinese partner and denied allegations of copying, while Great Wall Motor claimed it was assembled by an intermediary using knock-down kits. Additionally, both parties have reached preliminary cooperation intentions on three new models, including the FX4, marking the entry of FF’s “EAI Global Industry Bridge Strategy” into a phase of large-scale implementation.
