California-based custom shop S-Klub LA has unveiled its wild restomod creation, dubbed the “Final Boss”—a 1971 Mercedes-Benz 600 (W100) classic body seamlessly grafted onto the chassis of a 2024 AMG S63 E Performance. The build retains the donor car’s original 800+ horsepower 4.0L twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain, full MBUX intelligent cockpit, air suspension, driver-assistance systems, and even the massaging seats. Visually, the body has been widened to match modern track widths. Headlights were re-engineered using 3D scanning to integrate LED modules, while the roof and side mirrors feature exposed carbon fiber. The entire car is finished in a deep green hue. However, its exaggerated fixed rear wing and oversized centrally mounted three-pointed star emblem have sparked debate online, drawing polarized reactions from enthusiasts. Despite the controversy, the technical complexity and execution quality of this build are undeniably impressive.
