The updated BMW M5 Touring was recently spotted undergoing winter testing. The new model features a more aggressive front bumper with a vertically split design, and its kidney grille is slightly smaller than the current version but larger than on earlier test prototypes. Although covered in snow, the rear end confirms an updated taillight design. To comply with the latest European emissions regulations, the V8 engine in European-spec models will lose approximately 40 horsepower; however, BMW will compensate by increasing electric motor output, keeping the combined system output unchanged at 717 hp. The vehicle is expected to balance performance and environmental requirements through electrified powertrain tuning.
