In January 2026, Xiaomi's YU7 topped China's passenger vehicle retail sales chart with 37,869 units sold, becoming the best-selling model of the month. According to data from Autohome, this marked the fifth consecutive month of rising rankings for the YU7 since August 2025, climbing steadily from 23rd place to first. Close behind were Geely Boyue L (34,176 units), Xingyuan (29,007 units), and Aito M7 (26,454 units). The Volkswagen Sagitar and Nissan Sylphy ranked fifth and sixth, respectively. Although January sales dipped slightly by 1,220 units compared to December 2025—when the YU7 hit a record high of 39,089 units—its overall performance remained robust, underscoring its strong market competitiveness and high consumer recognition of Xiaomi’s automotive brand.
