On February 12, Li Xiang, CEO of Li Auto, made a special trip to Haiyan County in Zhejiang Province to host a dinner for Yao Dongquan—a heroic Li Auto owner who had rescued a woman from jumping off a bridge—and his family. Li presented Yao with an exclusive benefits card entitling him to exchange his current Li Auto vehicle for any model currently on sale, free of charge, for the next three years. Li Auto will cover all related costs, except for personal income tax and insurance premiums. The benefit is valid until February 11, 2029. On January 27, Yao Dongquan spotted a woman attempting to jump from Xitang Bridge in Haiyan. He immediately pulled over and rescued her within 20 seconds. For his bravery, local police awarded him the title “Guardian of the Bridge.” Earlier, Li Xiang had shared the rescue video on Weibo and publicly promised to treat Yao to a meal—a pledge he has now fulfilled. Yao’s license plate, Zhe FFJ3808, has since become a symbol of warmth and kindness due to this heroic act.
