GAC Group recently announced that it has reached 2,002 self-operated charging stations, officially entering a new phase of surpassing the 2,000-station milestone. As of February 2026, GAC Energy’s charging infrastructure network spans 31 provinces and 211 cities nationwide, with a total of 24,313 charging piles deployed—of which 18,355 are DC fast chargers—and cumulative charging volume reaching 1.56 billion kWh. Currently, large-scale charging stations with more than 10 piles account for 52% of GAC’s network. In core cities, over 95% of charging piles support 1,000V high-voltage ultra-fast charging. GAC has also established four “thousand-pile provinces” and 33 “hundred-pile cities,” ensuring at least one charging station within every kilometer in key urban areas. Additionally, GAC Energy is advancing its “Dual Ten-Thousand-Pile Plan,” aiming to add 10,000 new DC and 10,000 new AC charging terminals by 2025, while accelerating deployment of next-generation technologies such as megawatt ultra-fast charging, vehicle-to-grid (V2G), and commercial/industrial energy storage solutions.
