Mercedes-AMG CEO Michael Schiebe recently confirmed that the high-performance Black Series, which was temporarily discontinued in 2022 alongside the AMG GT, will return to the lineup. He stated, "Black Series is a powerful brand, and it’s our responsibility to continue it." Known for its formidable power, aggressive aerodynamics, and extreme performance, future Black Series models will uphold the philosophy that they "must be sufficiently aggressive." The Black Series will run parallel to the limited-edition Mythos sub-brand launched in 2022—while Mythos focuses on ultra-rare models, Black Series remains dedicated to hardcore performance. Although an exact return date has not yet been announced, with Mercedes-Benz reaffirming its commitment to high-performance V8 engines, enthusiasts can expect to see a new generation of Black Series models in the near future.
