On February 12, 2026, the BMW Group officially announced that ALPINA would be integrated as a premium sub-brand under its umbrella, with brand activation completed in January of this year. As a key step in this integration, ALPINA unveiled a new visual identity system: the updated logo retains elements representing the throttle body and crankshaft—a tribute to its heritage in engine tuning—while adopting minimalist lines, a transparent texture, and low-saturation colors, paired with a refreshed wordmark to create a more modern and understated overall aesthetic. All future ALPINA models will be produced at select BMW manufacturing facilities and will come standard with premium leather interiors, exclusive 20-spoke alloy wheels, and bespoke paint finishes, emphasizing personalized customization and long-distance comfort. The first production model featuring the new branding is expected to launch in the second half of 2026.
