The Jeep Avenger will receive a mid-cycle refresh, set to launch in early 2027. Recently, spy photos of its winter testing have surfaced in Europe. The exterior changes are minimal, with slight tweaks to the front bumper and fog lamp positions, while retaining the split LED headlight design. The side profile remains largely unchanged, with only minor updates to the side skirts. Inside, the biggest highlight is a larger infotainment screen—exceeding 10.1 inches—running the Uconnect 5 system, complemented by extensive use of soft-touch materials to enhance cabin quality. To comply with the stringent Euro 7 emissions standards, the refreshed model will discontinue both the pure internal combustion engine variant and the manual transmission, focusing instead on a 1.2L turbocharged three-cylinder engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system and an e-DCT dual-clutch transmission. The 4xe all-wheel-drive version adds a 21 kW electric motor on the rear axle, enabling a 50:50 torque split at low speeds. The rear motor automatically disconnects above 90 km/h to improve efficiency.
