In December 2025, China’s new luxury sedan, the Zunjie S800, delivered 4,223 units in a single month, setting a new sales record for domestically produced vehicles in the market segment priced above RMB 700,000. It surpassed German luxury models such as the Porsche Panamera (approximately 1,600 units) and BMW 7 Series (around 1,400 units), claiming the top spot as the monthly best-seller in this premium segment for the first time. Since deliveries began in August 2025, its sales have continued to climb, nearly doubling from September to December. The vehicle boasts a Net Promoter Score (NPS) exceeding 85, with an actual average transaction price of RMB 900,000—higher-trim variants are particularly favored by buyers. Centered on “tech-luxury,” the S800 leverages HarmonyOS Cockpit, Huawei’s intelligent driving system, and class-leading NVH technology to precisely address high-net-worth consumers’ demand for intelligent mobile spaces. In 2026, Zunjie plans to launch six new models spanning a price range from RMB 400,000 to RMB 1.3 million, targeting annual sales of 30,000 units for the S800 series and 100,000 units for its MPV lineup, accelerating its transformation into a full-line luxury brand.
