Mercedes-Benz Group faces mounting pressure on its 2025 performance, reporting a 9.2% year-over-year decline in full-year revenue to €132.214 billion and a sharp 48.8% drop in net profit to €5.331 billion. The company’s core passenger car segment saw revenue fall by 10.5% to €96.407 billion, while its EBIT plunged by 57.9% to just €3.564 billion, significantly dragging down the group’s overall results. The fourth quarter was equally challenging, with revenue and net profit declining by 12.4% and 44.2%, respectively. The light commercial vehicle segment also faced headwinds, though specific figures were not disclosed. Analysts attribute the downturn primarily to intensifying global competition and challenges associated with the transition to electric vehicles.
