On February 15, the BMW Group officially unveiled the new brand emblem for BMW ALPINA, marking the full operational launch of ALPINA as a dedicated, independent brand under the BMW umbrella. The new logo centers on the word "ALPINA," ingeniously incorporating two iconic mechanical elements—the throttle body and the crankshaft—and features a minimalist black-and-white color scheme that balances sophistication with heritage. Founded in 1965, ALPINA originally operated as an independent high-performance tuning company based in Bavaria, Germany, specializing in enhancing BMW vehicles. In March 2022, BMW announced its acquisition of the brand, and on January 1, 2023, the transfer of trademark rights was formally completed. Since then, ALPINA has operated independently under the name "BMW ALPINA," blending its classic DNA with contemporary design language.
