A Ford owner sparked widespread discussion on TikTok after posting a video showing her truck violently shaking when shifted into reverse. In the clip, Villiscia Thomas shifts her stationary vehicle from "Park" (P) to "Reverse" (R), causing the truck to immediately jolt and shake intensely. She asked viewers for help: "Does anyone know what’s causing this?" While some comments were humorous, others offered professional insights—suggesting the issue could stem from a detached driveshaft or CV joint, leading components to strike the vehicle's frame. Another user speculated it might be the "death wobble," a phenomenon typically caused by worn or misaligned steering components such as tie rod ends or control arm bushings. Experts stressed that such issues pose serious safety risks and urged immediate repair and thorough inspection. Ford has not yet responded to the incident.
