Spy photos of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLA have recently surfaced. The next-generation GLA will be built on Mercedes’ new Modular MMA platform and will be offered in both all-electric and hybrid variants. Styling carries over the crossover-hatchback design language, featuring an upright grille—closed off on the EV version and with air intakes retained on the hybrid. The headlights are slimmer, and the rear features a full-width star-pattern light bar. Inside, the cabin is expected to feature the expansive MBUX Superscreen spanning the dashboard, supporting Google Assistant, Burmester 3D audio, and over-the-air updates. The all-electric GLA adopts an 800V architecture, delivering 268 hp in rear-wheel-drive form and 350 hp for the dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant. It offers a WLTP-rated range of 542–631 km and supports 320 kW fast charging. The hybrid model pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system, producing 136–190 hp. A high-performance AMG variant is also planned, likely exceeding 500 hp. The all-electric GLA is expected to debut later this year, while the hybrid and AMG versions will arrive gradually starting in 2027. Key rivals include the BMW iX1/X1, Audi Q3, and Volvo EX30.
