On February 16, BYD unveiled the official images of its first model under the new sub-brand "Linghui Auto"—the Linghui e9. Based on the 2025 BYD e9, the Linghui e9 features only minor exterior adjustments while retaining the overall design. Positioned for the mobility market, the vehicle emphasizes "uncompromised technology and more affordable pricing," with a suggested retail price close to the BYD e9’s RMB 169,800. The new model has already been listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) registration catalog, offering two single-motor variants rated at 135 kW and 150 kW, delivering ranges of 535 km and 605 km respectively (test cycle unspecified). The vehicle measures 4,995 mm in length, 1,910 mm (or 1,940 mm) in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. Available features include a panoramic sunroof, flush door handles, dual-lens cameras, and black window trim. The interior is expected to mirror that of the current e9.
