The 2026 Kia Sportage will officially launch on March 5, with production already commencing at the Yancheng plant in Jiangsu Province on February 7. Compared to the current model’s price range of RMB 179,800–237,800, the new version primarily features refined exterior and interior designs while continuing the brand’s “Unity in Duality” design philosophy. The front fascia now sports a star-map-inspired daytime running light strip and a full-width black grille, while the rear gains a贯穿-style taillight and a two-tone rear bumper, enhancing the vehicle’s overall sense of depth and layering. In terms of intelligent driving, the L2+ advanced driver-assistance system is now available on mainstream trims, supplemented by newly added features including HDA 2 (Highway Driving Assist 2) and RSPA (Remote Smart Parking Assist). The vehicle measures 4,695 mm long, 1,865 mm wide, and 1,678 mm (or 1,680 mm) tall, with a wheelbase of 2,755 mm. Powertrain options include two gasoline engines: a 1.5L turbocharged unit producing 147 kW and a 2.0L turbocharged engine delivering 180 kW. Both are paired with an automatic transmission, though specific drivetrain details will be confirmed by the manufacturer.
