BYD has officially released the interior official images of its first all-electric K-Car model, the "RACCO (Sea Otter)," which is scheduled to enter the Japanese market in summer 2026. The interior adopts BYD’s "Ocean Aesthetics" design language, featuring soft, undulating curves that mimic ocean waves, complemented by dot-and-circle motifs to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cabin features a right-hand-drive layout, equipped with a compact center touchscreen, a row of physical buttons, and practical storage solutions—including a vertical umbrella slot, dedicated phone holder, and cupholders. Exterior dimensions comply with Japan’s K-Car regulations, measuring 3,395 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height. The vehicle features a four-door configuration with rear sliding doors and seats four passengers. Powering the RACCO is a front-wheel-drive layout with a 20 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, delivering an estimated WLTC range of approximately 180 km and supporting 100 kW fast charging.
