BYD has recently released official interior images of its all-electric K-Car "Racco," specifically developed for the Japanese market. Designed with right-hand drive, the vehicle continues BYD’s Ocean Aesthetics design language and features a three-spoke steering wheel, a floating center console display, a column-mounted gear selector, and贯通式 leather seats, offering flexible and practical interior space. Measuring 3,395 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, the Racco’s boxy shape provides ample vertical room, comfortably accommodating four adults. Powering the Racco is a 20 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, delivering a WLTC-rated range of 180 kilometers and supporting fast charging at up to 100 kW. The vehicle is scheduled to launch in Japan in summer or autumn 2026, with an expected price of approximately ¥2.5 million (around RMB 110,000).
