BYD recently launched an upgraded version of the Sealion 06 DM-i, boosting its maximum CLTC all-electric range to 220 km. The new model features an increased motor output of 175 kW and achieves a remarkably low combined fuel consumption of just 2.62 L/100 km. For the first time, it also offers an optional LiDAR system to enhance intelligent driving capabilities. Additionally, certain variants have received over-the-air (OTA) updates that extend their electric range: the DM-i 121 Navigation Edition now reaches 132 km, while the 170 Navigation Pro and 170 Navigation Plus editions increase to 190 km. In pure EV mode, the latter two models can further extend their CLTC range to 205 km. This comprehensive upgrade significantly strengthens the vehicle’s competitiveness in both range and smart technology, better addressing diverse consumer demands for new energy vehicles.
