On February 23, VOYAH Auto unveiled its new SUV—the Taishan Ultra—priced starting at RMB 459,900. This vehicle is China’s first mass-produced L3-level intelligent driving SUV, equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4.0 system. It features a high-resolution roof-mounted LiDAR, side and rear solid-state blind-spot LiDARs, and five distributed front-facing 4D millimeter-wave radars, significantly enhancing its perception capabilities for pedestrians, obstacles, and complex road conditions. The Taishan Ultra can precisely identify narrow alleys and obstacles, automatically plan routes, and support path-tracing reverse maneuvers to extricate itself from tight spots. In scenarios such as sudden lane-cutting by other vehicles, it can proactively honk to warn and execute evasive actions. Additionally, the vehicle comes with a "Lightfall" grille and smart dimming privacy windows, blending technological sophistication with practicality.
