On February 19, Rivian launched an Apple Watch-exclusive app, enabling owners to control their vehicles directly from their wrist—without needing to carry a phone. The app supports core functions such as locking and unlocking doors, adjusting windows for ventilation, and triggering the alarm. Users can also use the Digital Crown to set a target state of charge or adjust cabin temperature. Additionally, users can customize four quick-access actions, and second-generation Rivian vehicles support automatic unlocking when the wearer approaches the vehicle. Driving range is displayed directly on the Apple Watch face, and the app’s interface mirrors the vehicle’s color and configuration, ensuring a cohesive and unified UI design.
