On February 24, Black Sesame Smart announced that its intelligent driving solution developed in collaboration with China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles Research Institute (CIIC) has been selected by a leading Chinese automaker for mass production. Built on Black Sesame Smart’s Huashan A2000 full-scenario general-purpose ADAS chip, the solution supports L2+ to L3-level functionalities across all driving scenarios, including highway navigation pilot, urban navigation pilot, and intelligent parking. The two companies will jointly conduct in-depth technical optimization, with the first production vehicles equipped with this solution expected to launch in 2026. This partnership not only highlights both companies’ technological capabilities in advanced intelligent driving but also marks a significant breakthrough for domestically developed intelligent driving solutions, potentially accelerating the adoption and deployment of intelligent driving technology in China.
