On February 24, XPeng Motors CEO He Xiaopeng sent an internal letter to all employees on the first working day after the Chinese New Year holiday, unveiling the company’s new goal: “Steady Progress, Breakthrough Transformation—Together Toward a New Decade of Physical AI by 2026.” He revealed that XPeng’s next-generation IRON humanoid robot will enter mass production by the end of 2026, aiming to make XPeng the world’s first company to achieve large-scale production of advanced humanoid robots. This year, IRON will be initially deployed in scenarios such as guided tours and retail assistance, and its SDK will be opened to global developers. He Xiaopeng emphasized that XPeng stands at a historic inflection point and must fully realize “Physical AI + Globalization” by 2026, seizing what he described as China’s “DeepSeek moment” in autonomous driving.
