At Hubei Province’s "First Meeting of the Lunar New Year," four locally developed eVTOLs (electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft) made their collective debut for the first time. These flying cars are easy to operate—anyone who can drive a car can quickly learn to fly them—and support vertical takeoff and landing, making them suitable for diverse applications including passenger transport, cargo delivery, over-water operations, and long-endurance missions. Among them, Shi Yun Aviation unveiled the world’s first amphibious eVTOL, priced under RMB 500,000. Dianying Technology showcased its “flying saucer”-style fully ducted eVTOL, capable of carrying four passengers, resistant to Level 7 winds, and supporting an on-demand air taxi sharing model. Guide Infrared’s V1000 is China’s first tilt-rotor hybrid eVTOL to receive a Type Certificate (TC) application acceptance from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), with a range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. Meanwhile, Fusheng General Aviation focused on emergency medical services, developing a tilt-rotor eVTOL that can be converted into an airborne emergency room, also priced under RMB 500,000.
