Jaguar Land Rover China recently announced a senior leadership reshuffle: Pan Qing, current President and CEO of China, has been promoted to Global Director of Procurement while continuing to serve as President of China; Tim Howard, former CFO for China, assumes the role of CEO for the China region, with Chief Commercial Officer Wu Chen and his team reporting directly to him. The appointments are effective immediately. Pan Qing has been fully responsible for Jaguar Land Rover’s operations in China since 2017, becoming the first locally based Chinese executive to join the company’s global board. He spearheaded the “China Upgrade Strategy 2020” and the “Reimagine” strategy, playing a pivotal role in establishing China as a core hub for the company’s global R&D and manufacturing. Tim Howard joined Jaguar Land Rover in 2010 and brings strong financial expertise. He has previously contributed to optimizing the company’s business structure in China and enhancing operational efficiency.
