On February 25, He Xiaopeng, Chairman of XPeng Motors, announced that the 2026 XPeng X9 all-electric model will officially launch on March 2. Positioned as the world’s longest-range 5C all-electric large seven-seater MPV, the new vehicle delivers a CLTC-rated range of 750 km and supports 5C ultra-fast charging and an 800V high-voltage platform. The exterior retains XPeng’s family design language, featuring refined front bumper and fog lamp areas. The vehicle measures 5,316 mm in length, 1,988 mm in width, and 1,785 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. At the rear, it sports blacked-out full-width taillights and a diffuser-style trim. Inside, standard features include three rows of electrically powered tri-fold seats, Nappa leather upholstery, zero-gravity recliners, and RNC active noise cancellation. The central aisle is notably wide at 180 mm. In terms of intelligence, all trims are equipped with the Turing AI chip (delivering up to 2,250 TOPS of computing power) and XPeng’s second-generation VLA (Vision-Language-Action) autonomous driving system, which enhances AI-assisted driving capabilities by more than tenfold. The official pricing has not yet been disclosed, though it is expected to be comparable to the range-extender version, priced between RMB 309,800 and RMB 329,800.
